She currently leads Manipal McGill for ID - a research collaboration between Manipal University and McGill University, Canada - to foster research and training in ID.

DR. JAYARAJ PANDIAN

Vice-President, World Stroke Organisation

His interests include stroke care services, stroke trial and systems of care. He has published extensively on stroke thrombolysis, stroke systems of care and stroke rehabilitation in low and middle income countries.

Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and at the Prince Charles Hospital

His current interests are in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Pharmacokinetics of Immunosuppressants and also in Infections in the Immunosuppressed Host.

His areas of interest in research include Calcium and Metabolic bone disease. He is a brilliant clinician, prolific researcher and an exceptional teacher.
